April Fools’ Day
Mar 26th, 2012 | By Wendy | Category: Featured Articles, Reviews & ResourcesReferences to April Fools’ Day can be found as far back as the 1500s, which means you are not the first person to say – “Hey, your shoe is untied!” April Fools’ Day is not a national holiday. But don’t let that minor detail keep you from having fun on this foolish holiday. Just remember to keep your jokes and pranks fun. Please, no bullying and no situations where someone will get hurt!
What mom doesn’t love being able to say – “Sorry, we’re out of milk and cereal. I guess we’ll have to eat candy and soda for breakfast. April Fool!”
Since April 1st is on a Sunday this year, it is double the fun to be able to say – “No school, it’s a snow day!” You could also remove the bag of cereal from the box and put it in another box of cereal. Then when someone pours out their cereal, it’s not the kind they expected!
Now that we can add phones, computers and other electronics into the mix, the possibilities for pranks are endless!
