Monday April 22 is Earth Day! If anything has the power to unite all of the people of the world, it should be our very own planet. No matter our differences, we have at least one thing in common; we share the same home. We all live on planet Earth.

The first Earth Day was on April 22, 1970. Many people consider this day to have been the launching point of the current environmental movement. Earth is our home and we need to care for it and protect it just like we take care of our body and our home.
